New Web site raises money for cancer research with jewelry sales: Hartland-based Web consultants Five Sparrows L.L.C. Monday announced the launch of a new e-commerce Web site for Pulse Jewelry L.L.C. of Dearborn. Pulse Jewelry was created by Kellie Main Foret, a jewelry artist battling ovarian cancer since early 2004. She started making custom jewelry pieces last fall to raise money for her children's Christmas presents. The jewelry was so well received that it gained attention from area galleries and boutiques. Foret now has a collection of original art jewelry pieces, all growing from her signature piece, "Tree of Life," which she designed while undergoing chemotherapy. More at www.pulsejewelry.com. Five Sparrows offers Web site and marketing services, primarily to small businesses, startups and nonprofits. More at www.fivesparrows.com.
