LEAP POINT HIRES FIVE SPARROWS -- Ann Arbor-based LeapPoint Technologies Inc. was to announce today that it had hired Five Sparrows to boost its marketing efforts. LeapPoint manufactures the AiroPoint 3600, a wireless security appliance that brings top-level authentication and authorization to wireless networks. LeapPoint CEO Curtis Begley said Five Sparrows will help get the word out about the appliance, to "improve our visibility and support our VARs in their sales and marketing efforts as well."
